Port Saplaya became a residential area in the 1970s. From the beginning it became established as a second residential area, even though nowadays it became the first residence for a lot of inhabitants. This residential area has all kinds of services, such as: medicalcare centres, cleaning and garden services, supermarkets, bars, restraunts and summer cinemas. Next to the residential area you can find a big shopping mall, hairdressers’, lottery, dry cleaner’s, pet shops, etc.
From the promenade of Port Saplaya you can enjoy an extraoirdinary view from the border of Alboraya. This settlement developed into a meeting point of water sports lovers (surf, windsurf, fishing, etc), but also for people who lean towards finding serenity of the beaches, which have all the needed services, in the picturesque image with the colours of the maritime area of Port Saplaya.
Port Saplaya is the name of the coastal residential area, in the are of Alboraya, in the province of Valencia, Spain. It is known for its beaches and its peculiar urban area, which made it the turistic name of ”The small Venice”. Due to the facade colours of the buildings: warm and reddish.
The beach has an extension of approximately 1 km. They have a Nautical Club with boat activities for the little ones.
