HISTORY OF ‘EL CABAÑAL’, THE NEW VILLAGE NEAR THE SEA
The ‘Cabañal’ became one of the most popular places for the valencian people, who desired to live between the beach and the vegetable garden, therefore they started to build houses near the cabins.
The heart of the Cabañal- Cañamelar was declared a Good of Cultural Intereset in the year 1998, and the Maritime Holy Week is the name that was given the celebration of the Saints’ Week in Valencia, in the place ‘Poblats Marítims’ (maritime villages), which includes the Grau, the Cabañal and the Canyamelar neighborhoods.

As far as the trainsportation goes (aiport, port, trains, buses) it links Valencia with other places in the world.
If you decide to visit Valencia, it is almost obligatory to go the beach of Malvarrosa, enjoy the sand, the blue ocean and the sun. Nowadays, you can find amazing restraunts and cafés in the Valencian Port.
There are people that are doubtful and don’t know what to do. People that want to buy a flat or a house, but they don’t know whether it is a good time to do so, or they should wait more, because the prices will drop.
In reality, we can not say for sure that the prices will continue dropping or not. It is true that there are lots of possibilities that the price of the flats in Spain will continue dropping, but there is no insurance that it will continue that way. Therefore it is much more beneficial to rent a house or a flat, rather than sell it.
